Scientific Committee

The MEANS Scientific Committee is composed of about 20 "permanent" scientists from INRAE and CIRAD, in addition to the members of the Steering Committee and the platform team. Other "non-permanent" scientists are invited depending on the issues addressed. The Scientific Committee meets once a year.

Its role is to make proposals for the platform's orientation, which can be translated into the development of functionalities to meet the scientific priorities of INRAE and CIRAD researchers. This includes the integration of new models or new MCDA methods, the consideration of other dimensions of sustainability than the environment, the definition of new systems to be studied (production systems, farms, territories, food systems), the choice of developments allowing interoperability with other computing platforms such as Agrosyst, MAELIA or Plastic.
